My name is Daisy, I’m 34, single, have an incurable autoimmune disease and am a liver transplant recipient. Out of those four things, none is an actual choice but all are blessings in their own special way.

I’ve started this blog because if there is one thing that my life has taught me, a problem shared is a problem halved. I know that there have been times I have felt incredibly alone but then, out of the darkness, friendship from the most unexpected places has found me and given me a hug.

I grew up on ‘Sex and the City’ and ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’ and it is that level of quality friendship I have with my besties that gets me through life. (Life and my shit choices in men!)

Dating has been a hobby for years but it’s almost the backdrop for my life with its challenges and sagas. Don’t take it too seriously – don’t sue me – I’m writing this for all the other single girls out there who just can’t believe their lives are this ridiculous.

All the other girls out there, who are looking for a prince and can’t work out why they fall over Mr Unavailables instead.

I’m dyslexic so all spelling is deliberately imaginative. x
